Well, this is it.  The first blog post of Aument-Ramirez.com.

This is, after all, our all-new website to our predecessor site (still in business), at Jenniferaument.com
But as Jennifer and I are now officially a team, we figured we may as well get a site with both of our names in it…I prefer it this way too!

So check back here in the months to come, we’ll have plenty of posts on everything from Real Estate to Politics, cooking to electronics.  For example, a blog about why the new Blackberry Storm, after all the hype, truly is no match for the venerable iPhone.  Hands down, even from a texting/online documenting junkie, the iPhone is the device to get.  Sure, the Blackberry Storm’s screen actually does click (press down and you’ll feel it depress about 1mm) – in my opinion it’s more novelty than functionality.  The iPhone touch screen is cumbersome at first try, but in a week you’ll never want to touch a smartphone keypad again.

What’s more interesting is Apple’s iPhone spellcheck system – I’m convinced that it really does read your mind.  A few days into using the phone it began to learn what words I most used (and made corrections to my misspellings accordingly), and even reminded me to capitalize my name…how flattering.  Throw in iTunes (even if you hate it, it’s easy and it works) video/audio/home movie viewing capability, Microsoft Exchange server compatibility, and a relatively massive 8GB of storage space for only $199.00, I don’t see how you could justify buying any other smartphone.    …if only it would cut and paste (owners know what I’m talking about)

So there you have it, our web-log.  Expect to see many gripes about technology, foreclosures, and references to Mina, our baby who happens to be the cutest little girl on earth.

Until next time,

-Armand
